Attempt to create and hear two different tempos at the same time. The 9 instruments are divided into two groups, each with their own conductor.
It succeeds at 3:07 > the two groups start in same tempo then diverge: one ritards; one accelerates. At 3:43 they start at different tempos (1 fast; 1 slow) and converge to the same medium tempo.
